This video shows two examples of Paralympic Freestyle to Music Gold Medal winning performances. The first example shows part of the Grade IV test ridden by Kay Gebbie from Great Britain to win Gold at Sydney 2000. Kay was riding Mighty Heights a horse loaned for the competition by Karin Davis. The second example shows Debbie Criddle also representing GB riding Figaro IX to win gold in the Paralympic Grade III competition at Athens 2004. Figaro is owned by Debbie's trainer Nina Venables.

This video was produced for PARA-EQUESTRIAN by Howard Meaden. It shows highlights of the equestrian competition at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games. Shown are examples from each of the four grades. At the end of the Grade I section you will see a rider dismount and give his flowers to another rider in a wheelchair. The rider presenting his flowers is Lee Pearson the gold medal winner. He hands his bouquet to a French rider Vallerie Salle who's horse had tragically died as it entered the arena earlier in the competition
